A lot of organisations are establishing or have already established methods for staff to work from home. For some people working this way is second nature, for others its rather alien, both in terms of the tools you might use and how it feels to work in a different environment. With the recent announcement of schools closures you’d expect that the numbers of people working from home to increase sharply.
Most organisations have Office 365 and Microsoft Teams is part of that suite.
Teams is a useful way of staying connected with work colleagues, even if its in a more virtual way. Headline functionality are:-
- Instant Messenger
- Video Conferencing
- File Sharing
- Document Collaboration
- Teams/News-feeds
Teams is pretty intuitive, but if you are new to it, there are a couple of resources that are available to you.

A Teams quick start guide can be downloaded – Teams Quick Start Guide
Finally, if you or your organization need support setting up Microsoft Teams, Foundation IT Engineers are available at no cost to help setup, configuration and adoption. Please get in touch if you need help.
Stay safe and healthy all.
