Further to our announcement earlier in the year, we have continued to invest in our Microsoft Azure capabilities in terms of training, testing and deploying live cloud environments for our client base. Whilst the traditional Data Centre is still very much part of the pircture and indeed managing the infrastructure within those Data Centres is at the heart of what we do day to day. There are very few discussions that take place that don’t involve cloud adoption, even if that is to discount the likes of Azure, AWS or Google from the immediate direction of travel. Achieving Gold competency is another positive step in ensuring we can advise and support our clients that are looking to incoporate Azure as part of their infrastructure services mix. In short, the benefit to us, benefits our clients. A few examples include:
- Extended capability to test / pilot deployment scenarios on the Azure platform
- Access to support credits which can be used by our clients for developing services and troubleshooting issues within Azure
- Eligibility to deploy certain on-premise, internal use software on Azure
… and a whole lot more of course.
